Mission: A Man of Culture[]

Captain Marvel shows Hunter an alert on C.E.N.T.R.A.L. that shows Deadpool breaking into the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Hunter heads there and finds Hydra troops in the museum warehouse. As Hunter surveys the situation, a Hydra soldier gets the drop on them, but Deadpool gets rid of the soldier with a swift kick. Deadpool reveals that he's been sent here by a mysterious client to steal a statue.

Moments later the two of them spot a Hydra mystic handing the statue to another woman, both of them in red Hydra uniforms. Deadpool jumps down and demands the statue. As he does so, he recognizes the woman as Sin, the granddaughter of the Red Skull. She orders Hydra troops to attack Deadpool and Hunter.

After defeating the soldiers, Hunter and Deadpool turn to face Sin, and demand the statue. The tables are quickly turned when a new group of Hydra troops surround the pair, but before they can attack, the lights go out. Flashes of gunfire allow glimpses of vampyres as they slaughter the soldiers. Sin escapes in the confusion, but Deadpool and Hunter follow her footprints to an underground level of the museum, where a group of Vampyres attack.

As the portal back to the Abbey opens, Deadpool worries about his failure to steal the statue, and the wrath of his client. Hunter tells him that he will be safe if he comes to stay at the Abbey, which prompts Caretaker and Blade to repeatedly yell "NO" in the comms channel. Deadpool accepts the invitation.

Mission: The Freaks Come Out at Night[]

Deadpool walks up to the Mirror Table, wanting to join in on the next mission. Blade refuses at first, but Hunter eventually convinces him to let Deadpool go along.

Deadpool and Blade exit the portal into a New York City alleyway and find a Hemalisc, which Blade explains is a Vampyre egg sack. Concerned that this represents a Vampyre infestation, Caretaker tells Blade to eliminate the threat before it gets any worse.

The two of them continue down the alley and find a group of Vampyres, as well as several Hemaliscs that are about to hatch. The pair defeat them and destroy the Hemaliscs, then hear screams in the distance. Blade and Deadpool rush to find a group of Vampyres attacking people in the middle of a shopping area.

After defeating the Vampyres, Blade notes that something has changed. Caretaker agrees; normal vampire protocol would be to avoid attacking civilians in plain sight. Blade wants answers from Deadpool, sensing a connection to the statue he was hired to steal. Deadpool nervously makes up excuses about not being able to call his Latverian physician client right now, before escaping through the portal back to the Abbey.

Mission: The Deadliest Sin[]

Deadpool is putting on a puppet show for himself when Caretaker, Blade and Hunter interrupt him. Based on his comments about a Latverian physican, they have realized that his client is none other than Doctor Doom. They pump him for information, but Deadpool refuses to talk, citing the Mercenary Code. Hunter convinces Deadpool to reveal that his client's target is the Magna Corrigo. Blade calls it the Vampyre Holy Grail, explaining that it can cure Vampyres of all their weaknesses. Deadpool knows its location, in Transia.

The heroes head out, and exit the portal in a forest. They find an old abandoned castle where Hydra troops have set up a base, and discover that the Hydra soldiers have become turned to vampyres. After defeating the Turned Hydra troops, the heroes proceed through the castle gate to find Sin. She reveals that this castle was her family home, destroyed when other heroes came for the Red Skull. She begins to gloat about her new master's strength when she is interrupted by Deadpool's cell phone ringing.

A battle ensues wherein the heroes try to destroy the Magna Corrigo while contending with Sin. She begins a ritual while Turned Hydra soldiers and Vampyres distract the heroes, but Deadpool shoots the artifact, shattering it. Sin is enraged, turns into a cloud of red smoke, and disappears.

With Sin's plans thwarted, Hunter says goodbye to Deadpool, assuming that they will go their separate ways, and turns to walk away as the 1980's classic "Don't You (Forget About Me)" plays in the background. Deadpool, still worried about his angry client, begs to stay at the Abbey for the time being -- "20 or 30 years max". This prompts another round of people shouting "NO" over the comms, but Hunter welcomes Deadpool back.

Epilogue[]

Sin's new master is revealed to be Dracula. He tells Sin not to worry, as the Magna Corrigo was not crucial to his ascension before telling her to rise, to prepare for the Endless Night.
