- During the 2nd phase of this mission (Defeat Sabretooth), the only squad members are Hunter and Wolverine. Players seeking to maximize Experience Points for the heroes brought for the first phase of the mission should play their cards during that segment.
Story Summary[]
Hunter's squad heads to an area in the city with a high concentration of Hydra reports. They dispatch the Hydra troops they find there, and start to head back to the Abbey. The other two squad members enter the portal ahead of Hunter, who is suddenly ambushed by Sabretooth.
Sabretooth reveals that Crossbones has put a price on Hunter's head, and that he means to collect. Wolverine appears and distracts Sabretooth, and Hunter breaks free. The two join forces against Sabretooth and a group of Hydra soldiers that appear on the scene.
Hunter and Wolverine are victorious. Hunter hesitates to finish Sabretooth off, and he seizes the opportunity to turn the tables. As Sabretooth bites Hunter's neck the Collar gives off a burst of magical energy, injuring Sabretooth who hastily retreats.
Wolverine gives chase, but does not find him. Sabretooth, unable to heal, collapses in an alleyway. Lilith appears in a flash of green light and uses her powers to enthrall Sabretooth.
