The plot of Marvel's Midnight Suns unfolds through Story Missions.
Synopsis[]

Hydra resuscitates the Mother of Demons, Lilith, in an attempt to further their power. Lilith's goal is to to fulfill an ancient prophecy and reawaken her master, Chthon. The only hero to have ever defeated Lilith is Hunter, Lilith's own child. However, Hunter's victory cost them their life, hundreds of years ago.
Learning of the growing evil, members of the Avengers, Runaways, X-Men and Midnight Suns unite and bring Hunter back from the dead, in an attempt to defeat Lilith once again.

Required Heroes[]
Each Story Mission is led by Hunter, who must be present. Most missions also require at least one other hero.
Prerequisites[]
Story Missions must be completed in order. In addition, some missions require the player to complete a General Mission before proceeding with the story. There are also some missions that require particular Research projects to be completed prior to being able to continue.
Appearance[]
When viewed at the Mirror Table, Story Missions have a purple highlight.
