Research Projects allow the player to unlock new items, features, and techniques, such as unlocking various Combat Items, expanding the capability of facilities in the Abbey, or improving Combat abilities.

Unlocking Projects[]
Each Research Project is associated with a Hero. Projects associated with
Hunter are unlocked by exploring the Abbey or progressing the Story. The first Project for each other Hero is revealed after the first time they participate in a Mission. Completing that Hero's first Project will reveal the rest of their Research Projects.
Requirements[]
Each Project has a requirement related to its associated Hero, such as completing a number of Missions with them. This requirement must be completed before the Project can be researched. These requirements are removed when playing in New Game+.

Higher Research Level Required[]
Research Level must be increased before additional Research projects can be started!
Research Level is increased by Studying Artifacts with Doctor Strange.
Artifacts can be obtained as mission rewards!
Research Requirements[]
Research projects undertaken in the Forge often have specific requirements for different heroes.
When choosing which abilities to upgrade in the Yard, heroes to send on Ops in the War Room, or missions to take at the Mirror Table, use [button/key] to view pending research projects and any requirements they might have.
