Opening[]
As Hunter exits their room, they overhear a conversation between Caretaker and Doctor Strange. Caretaker is trying to get Strange to compose himself after the loss of the Sanctum the night before. The conversation turns to other steps they have been taking to combat Lilith. Strange blurts out that Johnny Blaze is refusing to hand over the parchment and Caretaker cautions him to keep his voice down so the others won't overhear.
Nico calls Hunter to the Mirror Table to see what's going on. There are alerts coming in from everywhere; Strange and Caretaker explain that before the Sanctum was destroyed, it shielded the world from mystical threats that can now get through. The Southwest has a particularly large amount of activity, due to the fact that Johnny Blaze and the Quentin Carnival are there. Caretaker reveals what she had been talking to Strange about earlier—that Blaze is the keeper of the Parchment of Power, the last page of the Darkhold. The scene displayed on the Mirror Table zooms in to show Sabretooth attacking the Carnival.
