Level 1[]
Hunter finds Morbius reading in his room, and asks about the book. It's a medical journal on a complex-sounding topic and Morbius jokes that it's just a little light reading. The two briefly discuss how to best improve yourself, before Morbius excuses himself to get back to his book.
Level 2[]
Hunter is surprised to find Morbius in the Chapel. Morbius tells them that he is not like most vampires; he doesn't share their weaknesses and doesn't follow their superstitious traditions. He believes that most paranormal events can be explained through the "magic" of science. Morbius explains that the universe is governed by fundamental rules like gravity. Science and magic are two ways of tapping into and manipulating those rules. He doesn't believe the paranormal world doesn't exist, just that most people give it too much credence.
Level 3[]
Morbius is at the bar drinking something that came out of one of Doctor Strange's bottles, without knowing what it is. This spurs a conversation on the necessity to take risks. Hunter asks Morbius if he regrets taking the risk when he experimented on himself and became a vampire. Morbius simply says that a risk is not a risk unless it holds the potential for regret. Hunter points out that Morbius didn't answer the question and asks again. This time, Morbius replies that you cannot move forward if you are weighed down by your past, and Hunter calls him out for avoiding the question again.
Level 4[]
Hunter finds Morbius relaxing in the Common Room. As they talk, Morbius mentions his home of Nafplio in Greece. Morbius reminisces about his childhood and the impact his blood disease had on it. He may have cured his blood disease but has traded it for a blood obsession, and is still a shut-in who pours over books. After Hunter responds, Morbius tells them that there is a Greek word for people like Hunter, "filos" -- friend.
It's Morbin' Time[]
There have been several references to the It's Morbin' Time meme within the Midnight Sun universe.
- Deadpool said "It's Morbin' Time" when announcing Morbius as a DLC character during his takeover of the Midnight Suns Twitter account.
- In the course of the The Midnight Sun mission, if the player speaks to Morbius during the meeting at the Wild Cliffs, Hunter will ask "What is your catchphrase? It is time to Morb?"
