Magik, also known as Illyana Rasputina, is a Marvel Universe character. She is a member of the X-Men who is recruited to the Midnight Suns by Scarlet Witch in the Prequel Short A New Sun Must Rise. Magik is part of the Suns at the start of the game, and is responsible for the Threat Room.

Level 4[]
Magik says that she has noticed Hunter and that they have been acting very bad. However, she feels that it is a good thing that Hunter is embracing who they are, and more importantly, proving to be a good friend. Magik then says that because of the Midnight Suns and Hunter, she has a home. Magik then opens up and shares that the creature that tormented her in Limbo was Mephisto.

Magik tells Hunter that they are her equal, and that even Mephisto would be impressed by Hunter. She will never apologize for the darkness within her, and neither should Hunter. She says that after this battle is over, Hunter should return with her to join the X-men. Regardless of the future, Magik wants to continue fighting side by side with Hunter.
Biography[]
As a child, Illyana Rasputina vanished from her family farm in Russia. She spent years in the demonic and temporally unstable realm of Limbo where her captor attempted to corrupt her. After mastering the ability to teleport herself and others mystically, and learning to wield the Soulsword, she rebelled against her kidnapper and reappear on Earth as the ruler of Limbo. Since her abilities are mutant in nature, she was admitted to Xavier's School and joined the X-Men. She served by their side until her graduation, when she decided to walk her own path.

Magik - Portals[]
Using her Limbo Portal ability, Magik can place a portal anywhere on the map.
Once a portal is placed, the next Magik ability with the Knockback effect will knock the enemy through the portal.
The portal will close and be removed from the map once an enemy has been sent through.

- During the mission All the Devils Are Here, Magik says "Korosho, bumer" to Caretaker, which is a Russian translation of "OK, boomer".
- Magik is vegan.
