Hydra Specialist has no targeting icon because of Frenzy, whereas Hydra Elite will shoot Spiderman whether he makes a Card Play or not.
- Unlike other Status Effects, Frenzy lasts indefinitely: "Frenzy X" means that the Frenzied enemy will take their turn after X Card Plays; "X" does not refer to the duration of Frenzy.
- "X" is displayed under the Frenzied enemy's Health bar, to the right of the Frenzy icon.
- Cards with Free, such as Combat Items and Collar Ability Cards, will not count towards Frenzy when played.
- In fact, Frenzied enemies cannot act unless you make Card Plays. This inability to act is signaled by either the Hidden Intentions targeting icon, or no targeting icon at all.
- Hydra Specialist can apply Frenzy with his Ability, Hydra Stim.
- Both Sabretooth and Fallen Sabretooth have Frenzy innately.
- The duration of other Status Effects will tick down whenever a Frenzied enemy takes a turn. For example, if an enemy has Stun 1 & Frenzy 2, Stun will wear off after your 2nd Card Play.
- Frenzy enables both Hydra Elite and Hydra Commando to switch weapons immediately before attacking.
