Dracula is an Enemy Vampyre Supervillain in Marvel's Midnight Suns. He makes his first appearance in Deadpool's final DLC mission The Deadliest Sin.
History[]
Dracula made a deal with Mephisto, but didn't fulfill his end of their bargain.
After Lilith directed Bruce Banner to blow up the Sanctum Sanctorum, the mystical shield over Earth fell. This allowed various dark creatures to enter and freely roam the world. Dracula took advantage of this, having Sin steal the Magna Corrigo, a magical statue, to help bolster his vampyre army. Around the same time, Dracula spread Hemaliscs around New York City.
His plans for the statue were foiled by Deadpool, Blade and Hunter, who took out the Vampyres helping Sin and destroyed the statue.
Meanwhile, Venom was consuming Vampyres to recovery from his injuries, and had turned into Blood Venom. After Venom was cured by Mephisto, he, Spider-Man and Hunter found the main nest, which Dracula personally guarded. The three defeated Dracula and destroyed the hemaliscs, causing him to flee in a rage.
Morbius was studying the Gamma-infused blood of the Turned, and developed a serum to protect vampires against sunlight. Dracula sent Sin and her forces to steal it, and she successfully replicated the serum from the sample Morbius had completed.
Dracula and his Vampyres, now immune to sunlight, attacked Central Park shortly before dawn. However, mass producing the serum from a single sample had caused it to be diluted. The more Dracula and his Vampyres used their powers, the faster they burned through the serum, making them vulnerable to sunlight once again. Burning as his protection faded, Dracula fled through the sewers.
Another of Dracula's plans involved a mutant with healing powers, named Dahlia. He planned to use her to create a cure to eliminate vampiric weaknesses. Storm, Wolverine and Magik were also looking for Dahlia, having discovered that she was no longer at the orphanage where she used to live. Dracula eventually captured and began experimenting on Dahlia, but she was saved by the heroes before the cure was completed.
After all of Dracula's plans in New York were foiled, he and Sin retreated to Transylvania. Blade, Storm, Morbius, Venom and Deadpool soon tracked them down and defeated them once and for all. Dracula left the heroes with a final warning that something worse was coming and his vampyre army would have been needed.
