A unique tactical challenge to test Wolverine's skill in combat.
Complete the objective to earn Wolverine's Midnight Sun Suit and Legendary combat ability!
Objective[]
Defeat the Whispers of Memory to acquire the Midnight Special ability card.
- There are infinite Card Plays.
- Redraw and Move are disabled.
- The challenge is failed if there are no more cards to play or the turn ends.
Walkthrough[]
This walkthrough uses the numbers in the screenshot to the left to identify each of the Whispers of Memory in this challenge.
Step 1[]
Use both hits of Lethal Pounce on Whisper of Memory #4.
Step 2[]
Play one of the Power Slash cards on Whisper of Memory #2, knocking it back into the wall near Whisper #1.
Step 3[]
Play the other Power Slash on Whisper of Memory #1, knocking it back into the wall near Whisper #2. Both Whisper #1 and Whisper #2 will now have 24 Health.
Step 4[]
Play Stink of Fear, taunting both Whisper #1 and Whisper #2.
Step 5[]
Use all 4 hits of Eviscerate on Whisper of Memory #3, taunting it and leaving it with 8 Health.
Step 6[]
Use all 3 hits of Chain Swipes on Whisper of Memory #4, taunting it and leaving it with 15 Health.
Step 7[]
Play Let's Do This to force all of the Whispers to attack Wolverine, who counters each attack with a KO, obtaining Midnight Special.
Step 8[]
Play Midnight Special to destroy the Black Crystal and complete the challenge.
