Blood Gates are portals that allow access to special Trials. Only those whose lineage descends from "The Blood" (including 
Hunter, 
Caretaker, and 
Lilith) can travel through Blood Gates.
The first Blood Gate can be found just northeast of the Abbey and is sealed at the beginning of the game. To begin the first trial, the players will speak to 
Agatha Harkness during story progression.
Each Blood Gate after the first needs its own Moon Seal to unlock.
Gate Locations[]
- The first Blood Gate is just northeast of the Abbey. Enter the Trial of the Elder Gods: Oshtur here and then explore Oshtur's Cavern. Learn
Open. - The second Blood Gate can be found north of the Standing Stones. Enter the Trial of the Elder Gods: Atum here and then explore the Elder Atum Shrine. Learn Reveal.
- The third Blood Gate does not have its own marker on the map, and is found past the bridge from the Everflowing Glade Fast Travel point. Exploring the area, the player will find viny, green tendrils referred to as corruption and Agatha will wait there for Hunter. Enter Trial of the Elder Gods: Hyppus here and then explore Elder Hyppus Shrine. Learn Purify.
- The fourth Blood Gate does not have its own marker on the map, and is found across the bridge north of Lilith's Garden. Enter Trial of the Elder Gods: Set here and then explore Elder Set Shrine. Learn Break.
