Blade, also known as Eric Brooks, is a Marvel Universe character and part of the roster in Marvel's Midnight Suns. He is a Dhampir, a half-human, half-vampire hybrid. Although he inherited the powers of a vampire, he does not share their vulnerabilities.
Outside of Missions, Blade can be found in the Yard where he allows the player to Upgrade Abilities and engage in Daily Sparring.[2]
Players can engage in dialogues and meetings with him, where he will reveal more about his story. To the player's surprise, Blade is also initator of the Book Club meeting. He secretly seems to have feelings for Captain Marvel.

Level 1[]
Blade and Hunter meet in the Yard, where Blade suggests a sparring match so the two can compare moves in combat. Before they start, Hunter asks if there is anything else they should know before they fight. Blade responds that anything goes, but not to touch his shades.
Level 2[]
Hunter meets Blade in the Yard again. Hunter asks if they are going to fight again, and Blade replies that they are going to train their minds instead. The two discuss doing Yoga together.
Level 3[]
Blade and Hunter meet in the Chapel of the Abbey. Blade shares that his real name is Eric Brooks, from Harlem. The last person to call him that was his mentor, Jamal Afari, who gave him the name Blade. He reveals that Jamal was the first to see him not as a vampire but a person. Blade says he feels Hunter sees him the same way.
Level 4[]
Blade and Hunter are in the Common Room playing a game of Hangman. Blade comments that Hunter sucks at the game, and Hunter jokes about the irony of a Dhampir saying someone sucks. Blade confides that despite his usual dislike of people, Hunter has turned out to be one of his favorites. Blade talks about Hannibal King, who helped him to hunt down his mother's killer, Deacon Frost. Blade also shares that he had to kill his mentor, Jamal, who had given in to his inner darkness.
Level 5[]
Blade and Hunter meet in the Yard. Blade is impressed with Hunter, saying that they showed him the way. Blade admits that when Nico first brought Hunter back from the dead, he was sure there would be a time where he would have to hunt the Hunter. But now he realizes that his original instincts were wrong, and he will always have Hunter's back.

- In Adventures of Fear #24 (1974) Blade fought Morbius. They fought once again in Peter Parker: Spider-Man #8 (1999), before Morbius turned to the side of good.
- Players subscribing to the newsletter can receive the Nightstalker Suit for Blade.
- According to The Way of the Fang, Blade has mastered 13 different martial arts.
- Blade trains Nico and Robbie in various martial arts at 02:30 AM twice a week.[3]
- Hates Vampire movies. He reveals that in one of the haven invitations.
- Loves to meditate and will like this activity when invited.
- He is obviously annoyed by Peter Parker, but he reveals to Hunter, that Peter once helped him, when he was infected with something by a Vampire, that made him wild and uncontrollable. Peter wrapped Blade up in a building and stayed with him until his mind was healed.
- He's hunted the more human-like vampires to near extinction; something that impressed Deadpool.
